At Penny’s Pub, we serve food that reflects the land and the experience of being here. We focus on simple, high-quality ingredients, thoughtful preparation, and a relaxed atmosphere. Nestled along the creek, surrounded by trees, open space, and mountain views, our menu is built around three pillars: handmade wood-fired pizza, fresh salads, and soft serve ice cream.
Everything we serve is meant to feel grounded, satisfying, and welcoming. Good food made with care and meant to be enjoyed in a beautiful setting. Our artisan pizzas start with dough that’s fermented for up to three days, creating a lighter texture, better flavor, and those perfect signature bubbles. We source ingredients from local producers whenever possible, from Montana whole wheat flour to fresh greens from just down the road.
But Penny’s Pub is more than just a place to eat. We’re creating an experience that matches the setting. You’re invited to sit, stay, and relax under a tree, near the water, or around a picnic table. While food is served quickly once ready, the overall culture here is about slowing down. One of the best parts about dining at Penny’s is the convenience. Once you’re here, there’s no need to leave. Everything you need for a perfect meal is right here on the property.
Penny’s Pub will be closed for private events on the following dates: June 26–28; July 11–12, 23–26; August 1–2, 7–9, 15–16, 22–23, 28–30; September 12–13; and October 3–4, 11–12.
Meet Penny
Our pub’s namesake and unofficial greeter, Penny is a Great Pyrenees with deep roots in the valley. She comes from a long line of guardian dogs raised on the Siddoway sheep ranch, but these days, she prefers patrolling Moose Creek Ranch, especially when there’s pizza (or children with snacks).
Penny isn’t technically ours (she belongs to a neighbor up the road) but she’s been a regular at the ranch for years. Guests often spot her lounging near the porch, tail wagging, fur floating in the breeze, waiting for a friendly hello (or a bite of your sandwich).
She’s calm, polite, and gentle, even with dogs who forget whose turf they’ve wandered onto. And while she sheds like crazy, we think of her fur as a souvenir you didn’t know you needed.
Penny’s part of the landscape here. Like the creek, the cottonwoods, and the open sky, she’s just always around. And Moose Creek wouldn’t be the same without her.
