Mountain Biking

Trails for All

The riding here splits two ways: cross-country singletrack winding through wildflower meadows, and lift-served downhill trails built for speed. Across the highway from the ranch you’ll find the Mike Harris Trail System with flowing trails through the woods. Grand Targhee runs one of the original bike parks in the Tetons, with a chairlift hauling riders up for technical descents alongside more than 70 miles of rolling cross-country trail through aspen groves and open meadow. Over Teton Pass, a different network climbs into the Bridger-Teton National Forest, much of it built and maintained by local trail crews rather than a resort — technical, occasionally rough, and well worth the climb. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort adds a third lift-served option on the far side of the pass, with buffed, graded runs closer in style to a ski trail map than backcountry singletrack.
